CTET Eligibility Criteria

Paper I – Primary Teacher Eligibility

  • Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks

  • AND passed/appearing in D.El.Ed (2 years)
    OR

  • Senior Secondary with 50% + B.El.Ed (4 years)

Paper II – Upper Primary Teacher Eligibility

  • Graduation with 50% marks

  • AND passed/appearing in D.El.Ed (2 years)
    OR

  • Graduation with 50% + B.Ed (1/2 years)

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 17–18 years (varies slightly)

  • Maximum age: No upper age limit

  • Candidates may re-appear to improve their score
